At Happy Trails Pet Co, we want you and your pets to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help make it right.
Our 30-Day Return Window
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition you received them.
What Can Be Returned
- Unopened pet food, treats, and supplements
- Unused toys and accessories with original tags attached
- Unopened grooming products and wellness items
- Collars, leashes, and apparel in original condition
What Cannot Be Returned
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Opened pet food, treats, or supplements
- Used or opened grooming products
- Items marked as final sale or clearance
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Items without original packaging or tags
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us with your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return. We'll provide you with return instructions and a return authorization if applicable.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or we made an error with your order. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for returns that are lost in transit.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that it may take additional time for your financial institution to post the refund to your account.
Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or product, please let us know when you initiate your return. We'll help you place a new order and can coordinate the timing with your return.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We'll arrange for a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
Wrong Item Received
If we sent you the wrong item, we sincerely apologize! Contact us right away and we'll send you the correct item and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item.
